Introducing the GigaSpace Leaderboard
The leaderboard is an integral part of our achievement system, designed to encourage community engagement before fully immersing ourselves in the metaverse.
Simply put, the more you contribute to GigaSpace, the more points you will earn in the system. These calculations will be regularly updated as additional features become available.
Now, let’s dive into how you can earn rewards from it.
Earn Giga Mystery Boxes
Giga Mystery Boxes contain valuable GigaSpace metaverse items, which may include space credits.
During phase 1 (from now until August 15), you can earn points by holding and trading GigaSpace Spacelands and GIGI NFTs. At the end of the period, you will receive Giga Mystery Boxes based on your final tier placement on the leaderboard.
We will introduce more rules and opportunities to earn points as our metaverse continues to evolve.
The Leaderboard
Our leaderboard displays the top 250 users by total points and will be updated every 24 hours. You can check your points and tier at the top of the board. Total points are a combination of points earned from land and points earned from GIGI.
You can navigate to the leaderboard by selecting “Airdrop” on the GigaSpace homepage.
Points Calculation
Your points from land are determined by two factors: (1) the number of Spacelands you hold and (2) the trading volume. The same applies to GIGI. Our system tracks trading volume from both MOOAR and OpenSea.
For instance, if you hold a 3x3 Spaceland, it will contribute 9,000 points (9 x 1,000).
Tier
There are six different tiers in the leaderboard. In summary, the higher your tier, the larger the airdrops you will receive.
Note: In case of a tie score with another user, the system will prioritize the ranking based on the time of your Spaceland purchase.
